About the event
"IT" = the life of genuine, embodied faith — the whole shape of what it looks like to actually belong to Christ.
IT is faith as practice. James shows us over and over again what our faith looks like in the day to day and perhaps especially when our lives get bumped.
If it's genuine faith, what spills over will be obedience to God, integrity in our actions and blessing to those around us. James' whole argument is that real faith is inseparable from action.
